Customer Service, Admin & Gift Assistant

We are currently seeking a Customer Service, Admin & Gift Assistant.

We’re a small and friendly team that genuinely cares about delivering the best possible customer service. This role involves assisting with office administration, ordering stock, supporting our customers via email and phone, and making sure they have the best possible experience.

When someone joins us, we want them to grow with us as the business does, so someone willing to muck in shows enthusiasm, cares about our brand, and enjoys being part of a team

You’ll be checking stock levels and handling the ordering of stock, assisting with any office paperwork or documents, editing orders, updating addresses, dealing with customer queries and complaints and printing orders.

In between helping customers, you may also be required to help the warehouse to prepare orders.

We’re looking for someone who has a confident and friendly telephone manner and can stay calm under pressure and in difficult situations. As lots of day-to-day tasks involve emails you’ll need to have very good written English skills.

Customer service experience is essential and one must have experience in dealing with actual customer service issues via email and on the telephone.

Initially a 3-month probationary period with an immediate start, for the right candidate this role is likely to become permanent.

  • Care about the detail and have high standards
  • Have a willingness to ‘muck in’ when it’s busy and stay calm under pressure
  • Hard-working, self-motivated and able to self-manage.
  • Be happy to participate in social media content - Instagram stories etc. (Nothing too crazy, don’t worry!) You will not be creating content just be involved in behind the scenes content. 
  • Please be aware the warehouse is cold in the winter months. 

 

Job Type: Full time/Can be flexible and offer Part time hours. 

Pay: £11.44 per hour to start 

Flexi hours: 18 – 40 per week

    Temporary Christmas Warehouse Assistants

    We are looking for a fun and hardworking people to join our team in St Leonard’s on Sea, East Sussex. We are a small and very friendly team with a lovely work environment.

    This is a Christmas temp position to help us through this busy upcoming period, and it may seem early to be hiring for Christmas but we have lots of thins to prep including our Christmas Advent Calendars. 

    There could be an opportunity to make this position permanent for the right candidate.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Lots of handwriting will be involved in preparing gift messages for the boxes.
    • On your feet most of the shift and Lots of wrapping and packing orders.
    • Taking in and management of deliveries
    • Processing orders from customers across our selling platforms
    • Helping with the assembling and gift wrapping of orders
    • Helping gift wrap our advent calendar
    • Ensuring a safe working environment at all times
    • Must be happy to participate in social media content - Instagram stories etc. (Nothing too crazy, don’t worry!)

    You will need to

    • Lots of handwriting will be involved in preparing gift messages for the boxes. MUST have neat handwriting.
    • Helping with the assembling and gift wrapping of orders (MUST has exceptional attention to detail) but work well under pressure.
    • Ensuring a safe working environment at all times
    • Must be happy to participate in social media content - Instagram stories etc. (Nothing too crazy, don’t worry!) Please note you will not be creating content just participating. 
    • Good timekeeping, to arrive for shifts on time.
    • Will be on feet for long periods of time, in a busy working environment, must be willing to muck in and help at really busy periods, working at a fast pace, but still keeping the same level of attention to detail.
    • Lots of gift wrapping.

    Full time 35 - 40 hours based between Monday to Saturday.
