Here at TreatBox, we believe that it's the little gestures, the thoughtful reminders, the I’m thinking of you that goes a long way. In a world that can feel so heavy, stressful, and tough at times, and one where you can be anything, it’s never been more needed to be kind. So over the last few years, on Random Acts of Kindness Day, we have progressively been celebrating it more and more - finding unique ways to promote the importance of kindness, and this year was no exception.
On February 17th, also known as Random Acts of Kindness Day, we sent out a little love via our Treaboxes to many of our customers, supporters and cheerleaders to thank them for precisely that. And as well as letting those we know just how important they are, we also headed out into the streets of our local town armed with goodies galore.
IF YOU FIND ME, I’M YOURS!
It was a special day and reminded us why we do what we do. We had the best time, leaving mini TreatBoxes in random and hidden places for unsuspecting passers-by to stumble across. Each box had the words If you find me, I’m yours on it and inside were a few little treats to brighten their day. We watched eagerly from the sidelines as people found our boxes of goodies, and the feelings we got from seeing their reaction as they opened them was one of pure warmth and joy!
ON A MISSION
So, whilst we love an appreciation day or a dedicated celebration day, we believe that we shouldn’t have to wait for such moments to be kind, to tell our loved ones how we feel, or to show a little appreciation. Any day can be a day to share the love and embrace some random acts of kindness. Simple ways such as:
Our founder and CEO, Zoe, has rooted TreatBox on acts of kindness and said:

Like Zoe says, we’re on a mission to spread kindness and joy, one small gesture, one TreatBox at a time, and in honour, we’re sharing some simple ways you can share that kindness with others.
Leave a kind note. Write a note of encouragement or a compliment and leave it somewhere for someone to find. You never know who might need a little pick-me-up.
Buy a stranger a coffee. Start your day off by brightening someone else's. Buy a coffee for the person in line behind you or for a co-worker who could use a little boost.
Volunteer. Give your time and talents to help others. Whether it's helping out at your local animal shelter, or volunteering for a charity, or even using your work skills for free to support a local event, gift your time and effort.
Do something thoughtful for a friend. Whether it's baking them a cake, sending them a care package, or just taking the time to listen, showing a friend that you care can brighten their day. A letterbox gift is always our go-to!
Pay it forward. Do something kind for someone, and then encourage them to pay it forward by doing something kind for someone else.
Remember, it's the little things that count. You don't have to do something big or expensive to make a difference!
